Sponsorship Coordinator – True/False Film Fest

True/False is seeking a motivated, friendly, and detail-oriented individual for the position of Sponsorship Coordinator for the 2025 edition of the True/False Film Fest. The Sponsorship Coordinator helps manage relationships with sponsors, coordinate events held during the festival, and work to ensure all donations and sponsorships are fulfilled during the festival. The ideal candidate will have a knack for customer service & organization and thrives in the dynamic environment of a film festival. It is a great opportunity for anyone interested in hospitality, developing sales experience, or with a love of movies.

Duties Include:
  • Organize materials for culinary sponsorships including in-kind food donations, cash sponsored meals, food vouchers, culinary swag bag donations;
  • Ensure delivery of contracted benefits, providing sponsors with proof of performance in a timely and professional manner. This includes: uploading window decals, posters, logos to website, stage mentions, logo placement, social media, photo deliverables to sponsor;
  • Input and maintain detailed sponsor information in the sponsorship database, including contracts, info sheets, invoices;
  • Assist with the production of the T/F program book, organizing and communicating advertiser placements; 
  • During the four days of the Fest, assist sponsors, attend events, and work to ensure all sponsorships are fulfilled;
  • During the four days of the Fest, work to ensure all culinary donations & sponsorships are fulfilled, delivered, managed;
  • Work closely with Volunteer, Events and Sustainability Team to minimize food waste;
  • Follow up with sponsors after the Fest to receive feedback and express gratitude.
Compensation & Culture: This is a part-time seasonal position that will run January 27 – March 6, with a stipend of $2,000. The weeks prior to the festival will average 10 hours/week, with the coordinator expected to work full-time during the week of the festival February 27 – March 2. This role is based in Columbia, Missouri, and we are not considering remote candidates. This is an independent contractor position.
