The True/False Film Fest is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Columbia, Missouri-based human being to support the Artistic Director with film and event programming for the upcoming festival (March 4-7, 2027). The Program Coordinator works September through March handling the nuts and bolts of coordinating film submissions and special programs leading up to the festival.
This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for the right candidate to learn how a many-pronged, mission-driven, international cultural event works from the inside. Although the Program Coordinator is invited to participate in programming discussions, no film experience is necessary for this role. A passion for nonfiction is a bonus, but business and hospitality skills might prove more vital for the day-to-day. Familiarity with True/False Film Fest, Ragtag Cinema and/or the thriving arts community in Columbia is also appreciated.
Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. Aug. 20, 2026, but a hiring decision may be made before that date.
