Just read another blogger who said, “True/False takes this ridiculousness a step further.” I think we will adopt this as a good slogan for 2010, a rallying cry even. Prior to this, we had tried this one: “I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!” But somebody pointed out that we were ripping off Barry Goldwater, and I for one am tired of that charge. We are a documentary film festival, for godsakes, not a conservative politician from the ’60s. It’s gotten tiresome to have to say that all the time.
