We mourn deeply for the thousands of lives lost and in peril, and we condemn the ongoing violence. We add our voice to the demand for a true and lasting ceasefire.

We acknowledge the benefits we as a festival, cultural ambassadors, and audience members reap from showing the work of filmmakers and artists whose lives are threatened by ongoing conflict. True/False will continue to program films that speak truth to power and engage our communities in respectful conversations about complex issues. We will prioritize keeping our spaces welcoming and inclusive to everyone in our community—free from intentionally disrespectful speech or acts of hatred.
