Volunteer crews & job descriptions
Please note that volunteering requires a 12-hour minimum time commitment!
- Set up/break down (all venues) — Requires lifting. Must be available for 12 hours during Mon. 2/25, Tues. 2/26, Wed. 2/27 pre-fest and Mon. 3/3 post-fest.
- Design crew (various venues) — Help designers create projects for various venues. Must be available for 12 hours in pre-fest months.
- Reality Bites crew (Leela Rainey Wood Ballroom) — help cater opening night party event. This is a 6-hour shift; requires another 6 hours elsewhere.
- Gimme Truth crew — Help put together and run event. This is a 6-hour shift; requires another 6 hours elsewhere.
- Closing night/Jesse crew (Jesse Hall at MU) — Help put together and run event. This is a 6-hour shift; requires another 6 hours elsewhere.
- Reel Gone Round Up crew Help put together and run event. This is a 6-hour shift; requires another 6 hours elsewhere.
- Merchandise crew (various venues) — Help merch manager set up and sell merchandise. Requires 12 hours throughout fest.
- Party crew (venue TBA) — Help set up party and clean up afterward. Requires 12 hours pre-fest and after party combined.
- Big Tent crew (Stephens campus) — Work with Venue Coordinator. Requires 12 hours throughout fest.
- Windsor/Charters crew (Stephens) — Work with Venue Coordinator. Requires 12 hours throughout fest.
- Macklanburg crew (Stephens) — Work with Venue Coordinator. Requires 12 hours throughout fest.
- Ragtag crew — Work with Venue Coordinator. Requires 12 hours throughout fest.
- Forrest crew (Tiger Hotel) — Work with Venue Coordinator. Requires 12 hours throughout fest.
- Blue Note crew — Work with with Venue Coordinator. Requires 12 hours throughout fest.
- Tech/Audio Visual crew (various venues) — Provide audio/visual assistance with sound boards and/or projectors at venues and assist tech managers Requires very basic knowledge of either or both types of equipment, though any level of expertise is welcomed! Requires _____ hours throughout fest.
- Runners (various venues) — Work with festival organizers running errands. Requires truck/van and at least 12 hours before, during, and after fest.

Please fill out the following form. We will do our best to match you up with your preferences, but please keep in mind that flexibility is often necessary because the festival schedule is not set in stone until very close to the opening day.
