Whole Shebang and Party Passes for this Saturday’s Boone Dawdle are sold out. We still have some Just the Ride tickets, which will be available on-line until 10:00 pm on Friday, August 20. Any remaining Just the Ride tickets will be sold on Saturday, August 21 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Shiloh Bar and Grill (cash or check only).
Ticket prices for the first annual Boone Dawdle will increase at 8:00 am on Monday, August 16. Due to the complex logistical nature of the event (shuttles, bike transport, goblin count), we have to finalize our numbers about a week before the event. Prices will increase from $60 to $70 for the Whole Shebang, from $40 to $50 for the Party Pass, and from $25 to $30 for Just the Ride. The Super Circle package will remain $500 (includes the Whole Shebang for free). So, if you’re thinking about joining us on August 21, you can save some money by purchasing your tickets before Monday at 8 am.
True/False will be selling $5 raffle tickets at the Boone Dawdle on August 21 as a fundraiser for the Fest. We’ve rounded up some interesting prizes, including: a $500 bike credit from Cycle Extreme; a Lux pass to T/F 2011; a handmade Boone Dawdle edition messenger bag from Leif Labs; a print of the Boone Dawdle poster signed by Frank Stack, and a private tasting and tour for 10 at Les Bourgeois. Raffle tickets will be available at the merch table at the Boone Dawdle, as well as from our three bike sherpas (Fest co-directors Paul Sturtz and David Wilson and Ragtag president Josh Oxenhandler), who will be waiting at the bottom of the hill that leads up from the trail to the winery. If tired bikers bribe our sherpas by buying $20 in raffle tickets from them, their bike will be carried up the hill. Winners of the raffle will be announced just before the screening of Best Worst Movie begins at 9:00 pm.
